How NutriCharge® works — for NITROGEN

Introducing NutriCharge, a product that helps your plants get the most out of the nitrogen in your soil.
NutriCharge works by slowing down the conversion of nitrogen in soil, which means that the plants have more time to take in the nutrient and less is lost in the soil.
NutriCharge reduces the volatility of nitrogen and keeps it in a form that is more easily usable by plants. This method works in all types of soil, regardless of the pH level.
In simple terms, NutriCharge makes it harder for bacteria to change the nitrogen in the soil into a form that is not as easily usable by plants. This keeps the nitrogen in a form that plants can use for longer, allowing them to grow stronger and healthier.

The protection that pays consistently
- Provides protection against nitrogen loss
- Its patented nitrogen efficiency technology allows for consistent yield response by effectively utilizing nitrogen in the soil.
- It holds nitrogen in the ammonium form in the root zone, which requires the least amount of energy for the plant to take up, increasing the plant's overall efficiency in utilizing the nitrogen.

Understand your risk of Nitrogen loss
There are three forms of nitrogen loss in soil: •Volatilization •Leaching •Denitrification
VOLATILIZATION—SURFACE LOSS
- High soil pH
- No-till soil and high residue
- Low organic matter soils, sandy soils
- No loss if you get rain or till into the soil
DENITRIFICATION—BELOW THE SOIL
- Soils with high water content and a high organic matter content are favourable for denitrification
- Temperatures typically between 20C and 30C
LEACHING—BELOW THE SOIL
- Low CEC soils (sandy soils) with adequate moisture
NutriCharge Nitrogen BENEFIT
A negatively charged polymer binds to ammonium and makes it harder for nitrosonomas bacteria to dock onto NH4+, slowing the conversion to NO2 and NO3.
This keeps nitrogen in NH4 longer, providing more time for plants to take it in, and changes the energy requirement for activation of nitrification, making it harder for bacteria to convert nitrogen.
This allows plants to uptake nitrogen more efficiently, saving energy that can be used for growth and contributing to improved plant health and higher crop yields.
